UPDATED: Eid-ul-Fitr Announcement

UPDATE:

After careful consideration and deliberation, we have decided that we WILL be having Salat-ul-Eid in the Masjid with strict safety limitations and precautions. Please read the updated message below. 

Assalamu'alykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, 

There have been no verifiable reports of the moon being sighted. Therefore, Eid-ul-Fitr will be on Sunday, May 24th inshallah. We WILL be having Salat-ul-Eid in the Masjid. Please read the following instructions: 

• Salat-ul-Eid will start at 8:30AM sharp
• No women, children, elderly individuals over 65 years old, or individuals who have symptoms or are sick. Healthy adult males under 65 years old only.
• We will be praying outside, please bring a prayer mat (Janamaz/Sajjadah). 
• Please wear a mask if possible. 
• Please adhere to social distancing guidelines. No hugging, shaking hands, or socializing. 
• As soon as the prayer is over, we request everyone not to mingle outside and to leave immediately.

Zakat-ul-Fitr is $8 per person and must be paid before Salat-ul-Eid. There is a box inside the masjid where you can drop off your Zakat-ul-Fitr. For more information, please click here to read our previous announcement.
