Zakat-ul-Fitr

Message from the House of The Believers (Islamic Center of Fort Pierce)

Asalamu'alykum, 

Zakat-ul-Fitr is $8 dollars per person and must be paid before the morning of Eid-ul-Fitr. To facilitate this we have left a box inside the Masjid to collect and distribute Zakat-ul-Fitr from the community, as we do every year. Please come during regular Salaah timings (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib) to drop off your Zakat-ul-Fitr payment. If the door is locked, knock on the window as there are some brothers doing I'tikaaf who will let you in. Salaah timings are 5:30AM (Fajr), 2:00PM (Dhuhr), 6:45PM (Asr), and sunset (Maghrib). 

Alternatively, you may write a check and send it to the Masjid. The Masjid address is:

Please make the check payable to "House Of The Believers" and specify that it is for Zakat-ul-Fitr.
