Ramadan Updates 2021

Asalamu'alykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

We hope this message finds you in the best of health. The month of Ramadan for the year 1442H (2021) will begin on Tuesday (April 13th).

Taraweeh will therefore begin tonight, Monday (April 12th), at 9:30PM.

Inshallah, we will be having Taraweeh in the Masjid. Below are the guidelines for Ramadan this year. Please adhere to them in order for us to maintain a safe environment, as we are still in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. 

• There will be no Iftar or dinner provided by the Masjid.
• Taraweeh will be performed in the main hall of the Masjid for the men. Women will be praying in the separate hall in the back to allow more space for social distancing. 
• Men and women are both permitted to join, however we request that small children remain at home, due to the risk of infection spreading among children. 
• Salatul Isha and Taraweeh will begin at 9:30PM. 
• Anyone intending to attend Taraweeh in the Masjid MUST wear a face mask and bring a prayer rug (Janamaz/Sajjadah), and adhere to social distancing guidelines. 
• We encourage everyone to get vaccinated against the coronavirus if possible.
• Adhaan and Iqamah timings are found below. There are many adhaan schedules found online, please follow the one below as it is the most accurate and authentic. 

We thank Allah for allowing us to return to his house for worship, after not being able to attend the Taraweeh prayer last year. We thank everyone for their cooperation and understanding during these unprecedented times, and ask that everyone adhere to the proper safety guidelines in order to allow us to continue to attend the Masjid together.
