Message from the House of the Believers (Islamic Center of Fort Pierce)

Assalamu’alykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

Due to the worsening situation and increase number of cases in Florida and in our county, with the advice and counsel of local and national scholars, we will be suspending Jumu'ah (Friday Prayers) at the Islamic Center of Fort Pierce starting tomorrow, April 3rd (4/3/2020). There will be no khutbah (sermon) or congregational prayers held in the masjid on Fridays. Please pray 4 raka'at zuhr in your homes inshallah and continue to engage in istighfaar (seeking forgiveness). Please share this message with everyone in the community. We will keep you updated and when the situation improves we will resume as usual. Until then, we thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We ask Allah SWT to protect us, our families, and all of humanity during these difficult times. Please keep the community in your du’a and take appropriate precautions to keep safe in this time.
